Christabel Homewood has been using art as a means of expression since kindergarten. Throughout lower school Christabel learned to work diligently with her hands and became familiar with many media, including wood, clay, and wool. As Christabel entered high school her interests centered towards design. However, after moving away from cloth, wood, metal, and watercolour, she was introduced to acrylic.

Christabel soon realized that although she loved design it was with this new medium that she wished to devote her time. School projects forced Christabel to explore many styles of art, and thus allowed her the opportunity to discover her own styles. Christabel has been working with acrylic on canvas for five years, and over that time has learnt that she does not have one particular style. She paints for fun and to express what she is feeling and seeing at that time.
